Description:
People Incorporated of Virginia is seeking a visionary and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. This individual will play a critical role in guiding the financial sustainability and growth of the organization. The CFO will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and ensuring the integrity of fiscal operations. The CFO is responsible for establishing and overseeing the agency's fiscal management functions including accounting, budgeting, reporting, payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and investment/banking activities. The CFO will also play a key role in strategic planning, risk management, and organizational governance.
An undergraduate degree in accounting or business administration required
MBA or other advanced degree, and/or CPA licensure preferred
Minimum of 5 to 10 years of accounting experience
Non-profit, grant, Low Income Housing Tax Credit, and or New Markets Tax Credit experience strong desired
