The Director of Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships (SIP) is a visionary leader and relationship builder who will drive Evara Health Institute's mission forward through strategic collaborations and innovative initiatives aligned with the institute's strategic priorities. This position supports the campus administrator and other Institute leaders in crafting and implementing a comprehensive organizational development plan rooted in extensive knowledge of healthcare industry needs, strategic planning, compliance requirements, partnership opportunities, and change management.

This position supports the campus administrator and other Institute leaders in crafting and implementing a comprehensive organizational development plan rooted in extensive knowledge of healthcare industry needs, strategic planning, compliance requirements, partnership opportunities, and change management.
The Director of SIP will drive strategic growth, be the voice of the institute's mission in the community, catalyze change in the healthcare education landscape, and transform lives through education by:
- Promoting innovative training programs that open doors for underrepresented individuals in healthcare
- Forging partnerships that create a seamless pipeline from education to employment and turn staffing challenges into opportunities for our students and graduates
- Developing a network of support that nurtures students from their first day of training to their first day on the job and beyond
- Pioneering initiatives that not only educate individuals but uplift entire communities
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Direction and Planning
- Advise the leadership team on strategic decisions and priorities based on research, evaluation, and knowledge community workforce development opportunities and emerging healthcare staffing needs.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to establish and implement a 3-5 year organizational strategic plan that drives healthcare training innovation and influences community workforce development sector strategy
Community Engagement and Impact
- Establish Evara Health Institute as the region's go-to healthcare education institution for high quality, innovative, and accessible workforce development training.
- Craft and execute a strategic partnership plan aligned with the Institute's mission and priorities and evolving healthcare needs
- Develop and maintain a diverse portfolio of active, high-impact partnerships across healthcare, education, and community sectors
- Implement a community-based participatory approach to engage constituents and key stakeholders
- Establish and nurture partnerships with entities in the nonprofit, government, business, healthcare, and education sectors required to scale innovative workforce training programs
- Provide direct support for partnering organizations, working closely with other institute leaders, to ensure all initiatives meet quality standards and achieve desired outcomes
- Oversee partnership tracking, database development, and records management
- Develop and implement a community impact measurement system that tracks our programs' effects on workforce participation and economic mobility
- Achieve a measurable increase in community awareness and support for Evara Health Institute's mission year-over-year
- Deliver quarterly reports on strategic initiatives, showcasing progress, impact, and areas for growth
Intermediary Services and Collaboration
- Facilitate collaboration among partners to leverage synergies and amplify community impact
- Assist partners in securing funding for joint initiatives
- Shepherd partnership agreements and contracts to ensure timely execution
- Oversee the execution and monitoring of partnership agreements and contracts to ensure all parties fulfill their obligations, effectively problem solving any implementation issues as they arise
Funding and Resource Acquisition
- Identify grants and other funding opportunities that align with the Institute's mission and strategic priorities.
- Participate in grant proposal writing, administration, and evaluation
- Cultivate relationships with organizations capable of investing in and supporting the Institute's growth
- Collaborate with Institute leaders and other key stakeholders to create compelling proposals and impact reports for funders and community awareness
Regulatory Compliance and Approvals
- Demonstrate understanding of post-secondary healthcare education and training regulations and standards
- Collaborate with the leadership team to secure regulatory approvals for new programs and initiatives
- Assist with the preparation of applications and ongoing reporting for regulatory and funding agencies
- Support preparation for site visits and meetings with regulators, funders, and partner organizations
- Oversee creation of institute policies, procedures, and resources related to partnership development, community engagement, and new program implementation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in strategic planning, partnership development, and program management, preferably in healthcare or education sectors
- Proven track record of successful grant writing and fund acquisition
- Exceptional strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics
- Ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships
- Self-motivated with a high level of professionalism and emotional intelligence
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
