Job Summary: The Director of Sales - Food Service - Andros is responsible for managing the US market and for delivering an aggressive growth plan; building awareness and equity for our Food Service brands with distributors and customers; building a robust distributor and broker network as well as managing and developing Key accounts; developing and executing a multi-channel strategy across the US Food Service environment. This position is based out of the Bloomfield, NJ office.

Working Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a teammate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Considerable time will be spent working within an office environment as well as occasional time on the production and/or warehouse floors, customer sites, trade show venues, and at sales events. The incumbent will be exposed to long periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Exposure to loud noises from production equipment and moving mechanical parts will also occur. This position requires significant travel, primarily domestic, including overnight, to meet with customers and attend promotional and sales events.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be performed by a teammate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the teammate is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, use hands to type, handle, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; see, talk and /or hear. The teammate frequently is required to stoop, kneel, bend or crouch, and travels up and down stairs. The teammate is occasionally required to taste, touch or smell.
The Director of Food Service - Andros may be required to sit for long periods of time while operating a vehicle. The incumbent must be able to get in and out of an automobile, and move in and out of production facilities, warehouses, outside, and other (customer and event) locations as needed.
The Director of Food Service - Andros may be required to push, pull and lift up to 25 pounds on an occasional basis.

This position is based out of the Bloomfield, NJ office.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence.
- Manage existing customer relationships to maintain and grow current business.
- Build and grow the customer, distributor and broker network.
- Present new brands and brand innovations to prospective and existing customers, including pursuing sales leads and prospective clients, developing presentations and proposals, and negotiating and closing business deals.
- Collaborate with our importer to motivate the sales team and the distribution network.
- Build and leverage relationships with key distributors and customers (chefs).
- Act as the Andros North America USA Food Service expert and the brand's ambassador in the market
- Represent the organization in customer, consumer interactions, including trade shows and events.
- Manage a team of Sales Managers. Hire and train new sales team members, as business grows.
- Own Sales Planning and Forecasting, in collaboration with our factories.
- Closely monitor market conditions and trends and propose breakthrough innovations to respond to changing market conditions.
- National travel (as required) and flexibility are necessary in this position.
- Other duties, as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- A Bachelor's/Master's degree in a related field such as Business Administration or Marketing or demonstrated sales related experience is required.
- 15 years of sales experience in the Food Service, Distribution networks, Commercial Channels.
- Leading full CBU, Sales and Marketing operations.
- High volume scale up and aggressive business development knowledge.
- Branded experience with preference in Ready to Eat and Ingredients categories.
- An Entrepreneurial mindset, enthusiasm for innovation, creativity, collaboration. "Build and growth" mindset.
- Must have passion for premium/natural foods.
- Strong discipline and structure around sales process, positioning, storytelling, and pricing.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interface with all levels both inside and outside of the organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
