Job Title: Senior Design Engineer

Department: Engineering

Reports to: Stefano Coratella

Location(s): Philadelphia, PA, with less than 20% domestic and international travel

  • Summary of Position: (Brief description of overall responsibilities and function)


  • Highly motivated self-starter who has a passion for aerospace engineering. The optimal candidate will provide engineering support to the Customization & Maintenance Engineer office activities to meet company's safety and quality standards within the allocated costs and in a timely manner. The candidate should be able to manage the design of smaller and larger helicopter components with a high quality of details following the classic GD&T procedure.

    Coordinating the design of complex assembly and parts to fulfil the customer needs, from the conceptual phase to a fully detailed 2D drawing

    Leading and mentoring younger engineers to coordinate workload

    Supporting the STC process of brand new or existing STCs

  • Qualifications for Position:


  • A. Education

    Bachelor's Degree Engineering (Master Preferred)

    B. Experience

    At least 6 (senior) years of experience in engineering environment, preferably aerospace. Combination of education and/or experience which would permit performance of essential duties and responsibilities.

    C. Competencies & Attributes

    1.

    Languages:

    • English (mandatory)
    • Italian (Intermediate, preferred)


    2.

    IT skills:

    • Catia (preferred), SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, SAP (preferred)


    3.

    Soft Skills:

    • Ability to work in a team in a fast-paced environment and to interface with different stakeholders
