In this role, you will directly manage key accounts, ensuring customer needs are met and exceeded while aligning with company targets and guidelines. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a thorough understanding of your customers' organizational structure and decision-making process, ensuring you become a trusted partner in their success.
- Gain insights into their business model, industry landscape, and competitive pressures, positioning KN as the partner of choice.
- Negotiate competitive rates and service contracts aligned with KN's business units, ensuring all commercial requirements are meticulously documented and updated.
- Become an expert in KN's vertical service offerings, showcasing the value we bring to customers across various industries.
- Maintain accurate and timely records within KN's CRM/CoreLog system to align with sales management processes and systems.
- Monitor monthly performance, including pipeline, wins/losses, RFPs, and financial KPIs such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), taking swift action when necessary to meet targets.
- Develop and implement account plans based on KN's Key Account Planning Process, ensuring approval from the respective sales manager.
- Seamlessly transition new business into operations, guaranteeing that customer expectations and KN commitments are consistently met.
- Lead regular and structured customer review sessions to explore continuous improvement opportunities, align on strategy and priorities, and deliver operational excellence.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Undergraduate degree in logistics or related business field
- Experience with End-to-End Logistics processes and solutions
- Requires 5+ years of freight forwarding sales experience
- Requires in-depth knowledge of international supply chain and experience with clients on a global scale
