About The Opportunity

Working as an integral part of the Employment and Future Skills Department, reporting to the Manager the incumbent is responsible for high-level administrative tasks to support the diverse needs of the Nexw7y stway Training and Trades Centre. Incumbent is the first point of contact for complaints for department, gathering enough information to forward to Management team to handle. The incumbent is responsible for time sensitive projects and initiatives and acts as the right hand to the Management team. While most duties follow established procedure; some independent judgment is required. Operates at a high level of people interaction and must be able to respond with courtesy, tact, and diplomacy..

What You Bring
  • Combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications or Business Management/Administration is preferred or relevant/related field from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Professional, adaptable communication style with strong interpersonal skills.
  • High level of emotional intelligence, patience, and integrity.
  • Abie to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Resourceful and organized, with excellent time management skills.
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
  • Maintains the highest degree of confidentiality.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative with a positive and professional demeanor.

Salary: $ 76,499 - $ 85,634 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits program
