JOB SUMMARY
The Salesforce Business Analyst at Community Health Choice plays a vital role in understanding business needs, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting the implementation of Salesforce features and enhancements.
With expertise in Salesforce functionalities and effective communication skills, the Business Analyst ensures successful project delivery and alignment with business objectives. This role requires a blend of analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills to drive continuous improvement within the Salesforce platform.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS AND CORE COMPETENCIES
Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
Collaborate with the Product Owner and stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements for Salesforce projects. Conduct workshops, interviews, and analysis to identify user needs and pain points. Analyze business processes, data flows, and system capabilities to define clear and concise user stories, functional requirements, and use cases.
Salesforce Configuration and Customization:
Leverage Salesforce knowledge to assist the Product Owner in configuring and customizing the platform to meet business needs. Collaborate with developers to translate requirements into actionable technical specifications.
Data Analysis and Validation:
Work with data analysts to validate and analyze Salesforce data, ensuring its integrity and accuracy. Identify data trends and insights to support data-driven decision-making.
User Acceptance Testing and Coordination:
Assist in the development and execution of test cases for new Salesforce features and changes. Coordinate user acceptance testing with stakeholders and provide feedback to the development team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and IT teams to understand their needs and challenges, and recommend Salesforce-based solutions.
Continuous Improvement and Best Practices:
Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements within the Salesforce platform. Provide recommendations to the Product Owner and stakeholders based on industry best practices.
Training and Support:
Support end-users in understanding new features and functionalities within Salesforce. Develop and deliver training materials and conduct training sessions as needed.
Stakeholder Communication and Updates:
Maintain open and transparent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and milestones.
Agile Scrum Master Responsibilities:
Act as the Scrum Master for the Agile development team working on Salesforce projects. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure the team follows Agile principles and practices, removing impediments, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Specialized Training/Licensure:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field required.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Business Analyst, etc.) preferred.
Work Experience (Years and Area):
- 2 years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst, working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with Product Owners.
Management Experience (Years and Area): N/A
Software Proficiencies:
- Proficiency in Salesforce functionalities, including configuration, customization, and data management.
Other:
- Agile development environments and familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
