Summary
Manages the Internet Sales department, which sells specific, related, or general merchandise by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Plans, directs or coordinates a product or service's actual distribution or movement to the customer.
Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, goals, and training programs for sales representatives.
Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers.
Prepares work schedules and assigns employees to specific duties. Oversees sales compensation records.
Formulates pricing policies on merchandise according to requirements for profitability of store operations.
Coordinates sales promotion activities and prepares, or directs workers in preparing, merchandise displays and advertising copy.
Supervises employees engaged in sales work, taking of inventories, reconciling cash with sales receipts, keeping operating records, preparing daily records of transactions for the Accountant, or performing work of subordinates, as needed.
Orders merchandise or prepares requisitions to replenish merchandise on hand.
Ensures compliance of employees with established security, sales, and recordkeeping procedures and practices.
Answers customer's complaints or inquiries.
Locks and secures store.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Call Center. Also directly supervises 8 or more non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities by the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
