Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Case Manager Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 1-3 years of experience required License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Acute hospital experience in case management and discharge planning- Prior travel experience- Willingness to work in weekend rotation- Proficiency in InterQual, EPIC, and Allscripts/Careport Job Description: - Must have recent inpatient case manager experience focusing heavily on discharge planning in an acute care hospital setting.- Candidates with only SNF, rehab, or hospice experience will not be considered.- Preferred candidates will have 2 or more years of experience.- Utilization review experience is a plus.- ACM or CCM certification is beneficial but not required.- Complete 12 hours of non-billable orientation.- Commitment to compliance requirements is mandatory.- Modules must be completed online prior to start date.- Reasonable adjustments are offered for the COVID-19 vaccine for medical or religious exemptions.
