Job Title: Sr. Financial Systems and Reporting Manager

Department: Finance

Reports to: Director of Finance

Pay Range: $125,000 to $150,000

Location: Modesto, CA

The ideal candidate, will have a proven history of demonstrating effective leadership and can advise and mentor teams to meet objectives, showcase excellent communication skills, and can work in a fast-paced environment while adapting to business priority changes with ease. They will lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the master data team, ensuring accountability of deliverables, promote strategic innovative thinking to achieve common goals as a team, and focus on professional development of team members.

Essential Functions Include:
  • Assume daily financial responsibilities related to the company's ERP system's administration including structure, reporting, modeling, audit, troubleshooting, and training.
  • Interface with Information Technology Services to ensure system configuration, version and underlying infrastructure is maintained.
  • Responsibilities include master data management, alignment across systems, data load tie-outs and reconciliations, centralized reporting development and distribution.
  • Act as system super-user to provide training to others in the organization as necessary on reporting and system enhancements. If you do not know the answer, you will work to find it.
  • Work with other teams across the business to review current data sources and recommend integration and automation to alleviate manual processes.
  • Evaluate models currently in use, recommending enhancements, while also expanding our modeling capabilities in the system.
  • Create additional visualization and reporting capabilities, using dashboards and Power BI, to standardize reporting to support upper management and operations' needs.
  • Prepare board materials and company-wide presentations that effectively communicate financial performance and strategic initiatives utilizing all company systems.
  • Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position for upper management.
  • Develop and maintain centralized reporting solutions to meet the needs of stakeholders
  • Distribute reports and analysis to relevant parties in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain system user guides as necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications Include:
  • 5+ years work experience with accounting
  • 5+ years of staff management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or similar required
  • Experience working for large company and within a matrix organization
  • Exhibit the ability to lead, mentor and develop versatile teams
  • Understanding of financial consolidation, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities; ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
  • Understand how operational and financial decisions impact the financial statements, including impacts to GAAP and SEC reporting and internal controls
  • Advanced excel and data analysis skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
