The Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical consultative services for all HopeHealth programs

This is a full time day position that is eligible for benefits.

What will you do as a Pharmacist at Hopehealth?

• Provides pharmaceutical consultation to all HopeHealth personnel (professional and non-professional) in accordance with the current contract.
• Actively participates in interdisciplinary patient review on all HopeHealth teams.
• Incorporates regulations and standards particular to state, federal, CHAP, Medicare and other provider benefits in written policies and procedures.
• Provides education and orientation sessions. May also be available for community presentations as needed.
• Participates in process improvement activities that support the organization's mission, philosophy, customer service and process improvement goals.

What are the qualifications to be a Pharmacist at Hopehealth?

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology, Masters Degree in Science preferred.
• Five to ten years of experience in a healthcare environment

• Must hold an active Pharmacist license to practice in the State of Rhode Island. Licensed as a RPH.
• Valid driver's license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or agency requirements and is in good working order.
• Ability to evaluate situations according to established standards and policies.
• In addition, ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

• Must be able to proficiently use computer.
• Knowledge and working ability of Microsoft Word and Excel in a Windows environment
