SUMMARY
Responsible for marketing and communications to support Corden Pharma Colorado (CPC). The Communications and Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the implementation of comprehensive communication strategies that effectively promote the strategy and priorities of the organization. This role will partner closely with the Leadership Team and work across the organization to help develop key messages, prepare key presentation materials for events, and drive impactful internal and external communications. Plans and directs communication initiatives to keep employees informed of employer programs, goals and accomplishments. Represents CPC during community projects and at public, social, and business gatherings.
Evaluates and recommends charitable contributions that support employee involvement in the community. Partners with global communication to align corporate initiatives with local strategies.

Responsible for coordinating the Marketing and Community Relations budget.

In following Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Corden Pharma Colorado manufactures in accordance with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), International Council for Harmonisation Q7 (ICH), and other global regulations as applicable. This is critical as it is our mission to not place patients at risk due to inadequate safety, quality, or efficacy. CPC's Quality Management System, which incorporates cGMP, is designed to deliver this quality objective. Attainment is produced through the requisite participation and commitment of all staff across departments and at all levels within the company.
cGMP is the part of Quality Management System ensuring products are consistently produced to accurate quality standards. Adherence to clearly defined procedures, in compliance with the principles of cGMP, is required when performing operations across Corden Pharma Colorado.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BS Degree in Marketing and Communication and 5 years of experience preferably in the Life Sciences field or a combination of both education and experience.
WRITING/EDITING/DESIGN SKILLS
Ability to effectively communicate information to top management, employees and public groups. Must be able to proof technical writing, artwork and all forms of marketing communication for accuracy
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY & ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS
Ability to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Requires a high level of organization to track deadlines and details.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage relationships with the Sales & Marketing Teams, and contribute and execute strategy development
- Responsible for marketing strategy to build Corden brand awareness and develop consistent messaging in all forms of communication
- Help prepare leaders for internal and external engagements including the creation of content for all-hands meetings; internal communications via email or other channels; video script writing; and social media strategy, content creation and execution
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, PR, AR, Legal, Employee Comms) to ensure consistent messaging and alignment on key topics
- Provide guidance and support to executives during high-pressure situations and ensure timely and accurate communication to relevant stakeholders
- Manage relationships with webmaster and Corden IT. Maintain and update design and content as needed. Provide website analytics
- Provide artwork for ad campaigns (both online and in print) which is consistent with messaging
- Create and maintain social media vehicles as appropriate such as LinkedIn and Indeed
- Responsible for charitable contribution budget with the ultimate aim of increasing Corden's reputation in the community at large and advancing Corden business interests
