Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

Job Title: Occupational Therapist Job Specialty: Inpatient Rehab Job Duration: 6 Months Shift: 8hrs, 8am-4:30pm, no weekends, no major holidays, no on-call Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week Experience: At least 1 year in the acute care hospital environment required; ideal overall experience is 2 years License: MA Occupational Therapist licensure Certifications: CPR certification (AHA BLS healthcare provider) Must-Have: - Familiarity with the acute care hospital setting- Excellent patient handling skills and transfer techniques- Strong communication skills and comfort working with other healthcare team members- Team player with strong time management skills- Self-directed, flexible, and able to multitask Job Description: - Provide occupational therapy services in an inpatient rehab setting- Manage a patient list of 8-15 patients, with a goal to see between 6-7 patients per shift- Strive for goal productivity of 5.2 hours in an 8-hour day- Collaborate with nursing, doctors, and case management- Experience with EPIC documentation is a plus- Experience working with diverse patient populations is an advantage- ICU experience would be an added bonus
