POSITION TITLE: Oracle Senior Solutions Engineer - Oracle Cloud (HCM and ERP)
DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Technology Division/Technology Support Center
HOURS OF WORK/CALENDAR: 8 Hours/242_12MO
STATUS: Classified - Exempt
Salary: $97,000
POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for planning, executing, and coordinating Oracle Change Management according to defined deadlines. Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Information Services, Oracle Senior Solution Engineer will define resources and coordinate the efforts of team members to deliver projects according to plan.
PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement cloud architecture solutions using Cisco technologies, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements.
Maintain in-depth knowledge of designated product areas, including competitive offerings, all product-enabled solutions, a portfolio of implementation case studies, and future product development.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to cloud services, collaborating with support teams and vendors as necessary.
Understand customer needs and challenges and link them to Oracle's applications and solutions.
Demonstrate leadership and superior presentation skills in a multicultural environment.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Teachers, Staff and Oracle Consultants
Ensure cloud solutions adhere to organizational policies, compliance requirements, and governance frameworks.
Contribute to achieving product/district targets and goals
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in IT or related field of study preferred.
Knowledge and use of Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP and HCM
3-5 years' direct work experience in Oracle Cloud
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to review and approve testing and implementation plans for proposed solutions.
Ability to problem solve information technology networks, systems, and applications as it applies to projects.
Ability to work with systems, network, and other groups in Technology Support Services to effectively communicate changes and technical problems to get them resolved in a timely manner.
Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Fusion
Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
Knowledge of and the ability to interpret and apply related district policies, procedures, principles, and practices.
Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations.
Ability to monitor performance of potential future direct reports to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
Ability to evaluate the effectiveness of processes of varying levels of complexity, and to develop changes or alternatives.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Ability to negotiate, and to resolve conflict.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the performance of Sedentary work. The position involves Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. The position is in a normal office setting with exposure to computers, with interruptions and irregularities in the work schedule. The work is sedentary, although a frequent amount of reaching, walking, and standing is necessary, an occasional amount of lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling, and some stooping, kneeling and/or crouching as well as a significant amount of fine finger dexterity is required in carrying out the essential duties of this position. The position is performed in generally hazard free environment and a clean atmosphere.
