In this role, you will help ensure that the CFS Brands IT Operations unit functions as a highly professional and aligned service that efficiently meets the needs and expectations of CFS Brands and its users. This will be accomplished by working closely with IT management to maintain and update enterprise level operating systems, applications, and hardware. In addition, this role will serve as an escalation point for the End User Services team when an issue cannot be resolved. As a member of the IT team that is forward facing interacting with the business units you will be expected to perform these duties with a positive attitude, in a collaborative manner, and promote a "team first" environment throughout CFS Brands.

KEY RESULT AREAS:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Services such as.
  • Entra ID
  • Intune Setup and Deployment
  • Azure Infrastructure
  • Lead or assist in deployment activities on a variety of relevant IT systems including servers, WAN/LAN connections and hardware, desktops (both Windows and Mac), mobile devices, operating systems, hardware, peripherals, and telephony.
  • Perform daily system monitoring activities such as verifying integrity and availability of hardware, applications, and key processes by reviewing system and application logs and verifying completeness of scheduled processes.
  • Promptly respond to system outage reports, diagnose root cause, and follow to resolution.
  • Knowledgeable in MS Sql Server including backup and restores.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and implementation of measures to protect and secure data, software, and hardware.
  • Perform tier two / three support on hardware, software, device, and network connectivity issues where appropriate and necessary. Maintain accurate entries of all contacts, follow up information, and resolutions in the incident management software.
  • Create, change, delete user and system accounts and access permissions as requested and approved.
  • Develop and maintain Departmental procedural documents and the IT knowledge base.
  • Assist in project planning by providing cost estimates, business cases, and ROI projections for technology investments.
  • Work with others in the IT Operations unit to coordinate the ordering and tracking of computer supplies, equipment shipments, warranty claims, etc.
  • Writing vital PowerShell scripts
  • Knowledge of AWS Infrastructure
  • Maintain up to date and accurate inventory information on Company assets (including workstations, peripherals, networking devices, mobile devices, and software licenses).
  • Notify users of upcoming planned maintenance, service disruptions, and reinstatements following agreed upon procedures and quality standards.
  • Document internal operating procedures.
  • Lead or assist in individual, small group, or classroom user training activities.
  • Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches to system administration tasks.
  • Meet or exceed established departmental workload and efficiency goals.
  • Assist in meeting compliance with Corporate polices, CFSP policies and procedures, internal control, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Travel frequently to local sites and occasionally to remote sites in support of corporate initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's Degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, or related degree.
  • Relevant mid-level certifications such as A+, N+, S+, MCSA, etc. required.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

The type of experience required to effectively perform the essential functions and responsibilities of this position are:
  • Excellent understanding of server operating systems and how applications can interact.
  • Experience with advanced administration of DNS, DHCP, WDS, WSUS, and DFS.
  • Detailed knowledge of Active Directory user and security group administration.
  • Detailed knowledge of GPO creation, management, and rollouts.
  • Good Knowledge of Azure Active Directory and 365 Group management.
  • Good configuration and security knowledge of switches, routers, firewalls, and data communication lines.
  • Good Knowledge of VMware vCenter
  • Good understanding of backup and restore platforms.
  • Good understanding of WMI and SNMP monitoring.
  • Good technical knowledge of PCs, Mac and iOS operating systems in a networked environment.
  • Good organizational skills and experience with helpdesk systems, SLAs, and support contracts.
  • Good knowledge of applicable information security principles and data privacy practices / laws.
  • Good understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery practices.
  • Basic Linux server administration skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written to a wide range of end-users in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Willingness and ability to work extended hours when necessary and participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Lifting to 50lb occasionally is required along with working on ladders and scissor lifts to assist with installing hardware and running cable may be necessary.

TRAVEL REQUIRED:

Up to 25% domestic travel, in support of corporate initiatives.
