Position Overview:
The Vice President, Key Partners is a leadership role focused on developing and executing customized Key Partner business strategies to ensure mutual profitability for Safe-Guard and our Key Partners. This is a key leadership role that focuses on strategic planning, metrics-driven initiatives, and the long-term sales growth of Safe-Guard and its Key Partners. The VP will lead a team of leaders accountable for operationalizing the strategy for assigned Key Partners. This role is accountable for achieving results by growing revenue and driving performance through effective internal and external partnerships.
Responsibilities include maximizing client and economic value through strong relationship management, strategic solutioning, and promoting our value proposition to current and future Key Partners. The VP will work closely with the EVP, Partner Solutions, to set and execute organizational priorities, supporting overall business growth and leading a high-performing team of leaders within the Account Management department.

Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, alignment, and execution of annual and multi-year strategic plans.
- Gather feedback and analyze opportunities for product development aligned with the Key Partner strategy.
- Facilitate the establishment and execution of Key Partner business priorities across the organization, ensuring cohesion and alignment at all levels.
- Implement metrics to measure performance, progress, and ROI for both Key Partners and the company.
- Act as a key advisor to the EVP, Partner Solutions, and engage with external experts to influence business strategies.
- Identify, develop, and execute partnerships and collaborative arrangements that drive growth and success.
- Provide data-driven recommendations and strategic solutions.
- Monitor external trends and identify new growth opportunities, including products and market segments.
- Foster internal and external stakeholder engagement in company initiatives.
- Represent Safe-Guard in partnerships, task forces, and committees to further the company's mission.
- Support business development with strategic direction and vision, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Establish and implement goals, objectives, and policies to achieve company and Key Partner objectives.
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of leaders, fostering a high-performing environment that encourages professional growth and optimal performance.
- Ensure the smooth operation and continuous growth of the Key Partner portfolio.
- Maintain accurate records and foster strong, high-level relationships with Key Partners.
- Positively impact account profitability and develop strategies to achieve annual goals and objectives.
- Track performance and provide forecasts to the senior management team.
Job Requirements:
- 7+ years leading a team of leaders focused on creating and executing sales growth initiatives with high producing accounts
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or graduate-level degree preferred.
- Proven experience in people and team management, including leading and developing other leaders.
- 10+ years of experience in business development, with a strong track record of strategic planning and execution.
- 12+ years of experience in Automotive Finance & Insurance, with expertise in F&I third-party administration, Automotive OEM Financial Services, or Retail F&I (Automotive OEM experience preferred).
- Experience presenting to C-Suite.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to build strategic, high-level relationships.
- Experience in organizational change, program design, and periods of rapid growth.
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to travel up to 35% of the time.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check
