Data Modeler - C63548 7.0 Dallas, TX

For one of long-term multiyear projects, we are looking for a Data Modeler out of Dallas, TX.

Required Skills:
7-15 years of experience with information technology programs and services, with demonstrated expertise in enterprise data management and related technologies
5-15 years of data architecture experience
5-15 years of data modeling experience
Thorough knowledge of ERwin Data Modeler (V8 or higher) or a comparable CASE tool
Knowledge of Agile development methodology and concepts
Experience working as a member of distributed data architecture teams
Understanding of information systems and data life-cycle management best practices and methodologies, formal systems engineering life cycle (SELC), and systems development life cycle (SDLC)
Hands-on SQL experience
Good understanding of the available database management platforms in the industry.
Effective communication skills and relationship management skills
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products
Desired Skills:
Experience with any ETL tool (Informatica, DataStage, etc
Experience with any Business Intelligence (BI) tool (i.e. Cognos, MicroStrategy, Business Objects, etc
Experience with data warehousing principles
Experience with any commercially available industry data model (i.e. IBM's Financial Services Data Model)
Good understanding of the concepts in the financial industry, especially in trade, clearing and settlement
Experience with any data profiling/data discovery tool
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization (Computer Science or Information Systems)
Data management and data architecture related certifications (i.e. TOGAF) is a plus
