Position Summary: The Human Resources Manager works closely with the Chief Human Resources & Compliance Officer (CHRCO) to manage all Human Resources systems, handle employee relations, support and recommend DEI initiatives, ensure compliance, manage the daily HR Department tasks and staffing, assess organizational staffing needs, and oversee the new hire process.
Duties and Responsibilities
Review and make recommendations for the improvement of human resources policies, procedures, and practices Cultivate a supportive and inclusive work environment for all our employees Ensure organizational compliance with Federal, State, County, and City legislation Audit personnel records of employees and changes to the payroll system Coordinate and manage the annual performancer review process Provide presentations and training to management staff Develop recruitment and retention plans for all levels of staff

All wages are based on relevant years of experience. The minimum rate is the wage that a Human Resources Manager without any prior expereince HR Management experience would earn.

Duties and Responsibilities
Required Skills or Abilities
- Establish strong working relationships with all staff and to communicate effectively
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with all staff, trainees, and patients at all times
- Demonstrate respect and sensitivity for cultural diversity, gender differences, and sexual orientation of patients and coworkers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Qualifications, Knowledge, Experience, or Licensure
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or another related field required, with a Master's degreen in Human Resources or a related field strongly preferred
- Minimum 5-7 years of Human Resources experience is required.
- Prior Human Resources Management experience required, with a preference for 3 years or more as Human Resources Manager
- Strong desire for 3-5 years of experience within a healthcare environment, preferably in primary care, especially the FQHC environment
- Prior expereince with HRIS required and demonstrated ability to implement processes that reduce redundancies
- Bilingual English/Spanish encouraged
