Rental and Tour Business Manager

Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Rental and Tour Business Manager to join our Motorsports team in Marietta, GA. Th Rental and Tour Business Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic growth plans for the rental and tour business of Yamaha Motorsports. They will identify and target new segments, work to build an effective partner network, and marketing Yamaha products to the rental and tour markets. In addition, they will develop and promote unique experiences and events by collaborating with rental and tour partners.

What you'll be doing:

• Create and activate "go to market" processes to support the rental and tour business plan and strategies (Dealer/Partner Network, wholesale, pricing, marketing, P&A support, reporting, etc.)
• Design and implement an Adventure Travel arm to the rental and tour business. This may involve identifying new revenue streams, such as guided tours or experiential packages
• Explore and activate new business models. Be the key stakeholder in activating franchise, subscription, and other new opportunities
• Work closely with Destination Yamaha Coordinator (direct report) to ensure orders are being processed, adequate supply is being produced, and any issues that arise are being handled.
• Work closely with Destination Yamaha Experience Specialist (direct report) to execute events and experiences that build community awareness and social sharing
• Streamline and continuously improve the customer data collection process and respective marketing efforts. (Booking platform integration, customer communication campaigns, retail conversions, etc.)
• Measure and track rental and tour metrics for continuous improvement. Prepare and present results to management.
• Perform other duties as required.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Bachelor's degree in business, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of rental/tour industry experience
• 2-3 years of experience in leading and managing a team
• Automotive / Motorsports experience preferred
• Proven ability to work cross functionally with many different internal business functions and external organizations.
• Strong detail orientation and organizational skills
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
