Are you seeking a position that presents a challenge and provides growth in your chosen profession. BAE Systems maybe the place for you to meet your goals. We are seeking to fill our Logistics Analyst position in support of our Ship Repair Division.

The primary role of a Logistics Analyst Principle is to analyze data to assist with decision-making and improve the efficiency of BAE ship repair logistics operations. As a logistics analyst, you would be responsible for using data analysis to develop and implement strategies for optimizing the supply chain. You would be required to identify areas of inefficiency and determine the root cause of the problem. You must also explore new technologies that can improve logistics management, such as automation solutions.

In depth knowledge of distribution and shipping methods

Strong analytical skills to interpret data related to logistics operations

Developing and implementing strategies that improve the efficiency of the supply chain

Problem solving skills to take quick and decisive action to mitigate disruptions in supply chain

Identifying cost-saving opportunities within the logistics chain

Effective oral and written skills to collaborate throughout the entire supply chain team to optimize logistics processes

Monitoring inventory levels to ensure continuous availability of goods

Recommending and implementing process improvements

Preparing reports and presenting findings to management

Ability to work outside the box when spotting opportunities for improvement

Multitasking skills to quickly switch from one task to another when required
This is a fully remote working position.
