Occupational Therapist - Inpatient Rehab

Job Title: Occupational Therapist Job Specialty: Inpatient Rehab Job Duration: 6 Months Shift: 8-hour Days, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, No Weekends, No Major Holidays, No On-call Guaranteed Hours: 40 Experience: At least 1 year in an acute care hospital environment. Ideally, 2 or more years overall. License: MA Occupational Therapist Licensure Certifications: CPR Certification (AHA BLS Healthcare Provider) Must-Have: Familiarity with acute care hospital settings, excellent patient handling skills, transfer techniques, and effective communication with the healthcare team. Job Description: - Manage a patient list of 8-15 patients, typically seeing between 6-7 patients daily. - Achieve goal productivity of 5.2 hours in an 8-hour day. - Strong time management skills, self-direction, flexibility, and multitasking abilities. - Comfortable working with healthcare team members, including nursing, MDs, and case management. - ICU experience and experience with diverse patient populations is a plus. - Experience with EPIC documentation is beneficial.
