Description
The Plant Systems Engineer will be accountable for coordination and management of plant systems from an approach of people, process, and IT systems. Accountabilities include training and change management, reporting, SQL database, MES configuration, SPC concepts and quality management.
Required Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree in engineering, supply chain operations, and/or IT supply chain
At least 5 years Engineering, supply chain operations, and/or IT supply chain
Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical teams
Proven track record of project management
Strong team building and training skills
Deep knowledge of manufacturing operations and core processes
Experience in systems configuration and maintenance
Experience Implementing:
o Plant Floor Control System Concepts
o Wonderware (AVEVA) MES application development & troubleshooting
o Dashboarding tools (Tableau and Domo)
o Wonderware (Archestra, InBatch, Historian)
o SQL Queries and Table Structures
o PLC Programming:
Allen Bradley (RS Logics 500 & 5000)
Siemens
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree Engineering, supply chain operations, and/or IT supply chain
Manage and develop direct and indirect reports
Experience in operations management
PLC Programming: B&R
Strong proficiency in SAP usage and deep knowledge of SAP Transactions (Production Orders, Production Confirmations, Material Movements, Quality Notifications)
Ability to work with various databases exchanging information through the network between IT systems and control systems in manufacturing departments.
Understanding of:
o Operational Excellence Standards and Expectations
o Factory Performance and Reliability (FP&R)
o Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Standards
o Quality Standards/Regulatory Requirements
o Inventory Management
o Fundamental Statistical Process Control Concepts
o Planned Maintenance Concepts
o Plant Metrics
o Reporting Requirements Archestra, SQL Database (Advanced), SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
o Google App Scripting
