The salary range for this position is $164,000 - $205,000 per year based upon a San Francisco location. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location. Kendo Total Rewards offerings also include an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental and vision insurance, flex paid time off program, parental leave, employee discount/perks, a retirement plan with employer contributions, Summer Fridays, opportunity to work from anywhere for two weeks in the summer and July and December wellness/shutdown weeks for applicable positions.

The Director of Project Management leads the Project Management team and reports to VP of Strategic Sourcing & Project Management. This role leads and mentors project managers, coordinates with cross-functional team members, and facilitates planning and tracking progress through launch.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Management - Responsible for establishing timelines for delivering new products and projects. Create and manage detailed project plans complete with dependencies, owners, and duration. Provide a regular status on progress, risks, and issues. Drive issues to resolution through partnerships and creative problem solving.
- Project Tracking & Monitoring - Track and provide project status and on time reporting. Manage the risk, issue, and change resolution process, and work with other leaders to take corrective action as needed. Oversee Project Managers for the delivery of projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Problem Solving - Use rigorous logic and method to solve difficult problems with effective solution. Drives to keep overall resources on task and on schedule, manage change, understand all issues from the top down. Support Project Managers and cross-functional team members by ensuring they are clear that tasks are prioritized, addressed, and resolved in a timely manner.
- Process Management - Responsible for understanding and evaluating the end-to-end process and lead new Project Management process implementation companywide. Identify and execute opportunities for continual process improvement. Contributes to implementation of companywide initiatives.
- Project Prioritization - Provide executive leaders with the information needed to assess which proposals have the highest potential value, impact, and strategic alignment. Interface with executives to define project priorities and keep them up to date with project risks and opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 - 10 years of experience in Cosmetics, Personal Care, Health & Beauty is preferred.
- 5 years of strong Project Management experience required, preferable within the consumer products industry
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects - prioritization, planning, and task delegation
- Applicants must have a track record of leading cross-functional teams to execute projects
- Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results
- Ability to work in fast-paced, often-changing environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically
- Strong organizational / analytical skills and attention to details.
