YOUR ROLE

As National Production System Director you will serve as a benchmark in Lean Six Sigma knowledge and execution of projects efficiently. This position requires championing and instilling a culture of continuous improvement across all Kuehne+Nagel Business Units at the national level. You will also be accountable for fostering a culture of ongoing improvement throughout the company's national locations by demonstrating and diligently applying Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies across all sites. You will mentor and coach Yellow and Green Belt personnel towards certification.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leading and facilitating in-depthValue Stream Analysis events to identify and address process inefficiencies,thereby equipping business unit leadership with a robust project pipeline forongoing improvement initiatives.
  • Monitoring and leading ContinuousImprovement Events to drive efficiency and performance advances:
  • Delivering training for YellowBelts and providing support to the Master Black Belt during Lean Six Sigma Greenor Black Belt training:
  • Mentoring and coaching Yellow andGreen Belts practitioners on site, not only to help them achieve certification,but also to foster skill development and career advancement.
  • Executing a minimum of two BlackBelt projects each year, designed to significantly enhance operationalproductivity and efficiency, with the goal of achieving substantial costsavings.
  • Collaborating with finance tovalidate project cost savings, in accordance with the country's cost savingsgovernance guidelines.
  • Supporting and reporting onSustainability initiatives aimed at enhancing Energy Efficiency, Plastic FreeOperations, Waste Management, Water Conservation, as well as Employee Wellbeingand Inclusion

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Bachelors Degree in Systems Engineer or related field preferred
  • 8+ years of Proven experience in a similar role, quality management & process improvement
  • Contract logistics management experience preferred.
  • Certification in Lean Six SigmaBlack Belt methodology from a recognized institution
  • Experience in conducting trainings which includes mentorship & coaching
  • Extensive leadership experience coupled with robust problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Exceptional communication andinterpersonal skills, capable of fostering collaborative relationships.
  • Proven experience in delivering Kaizen, DMAIC & Rapid Improvement activities based on Value Stream Mapping preferred.
  • Advanced skills in MS office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS project and MS Visio.
