We are actively seeking a talented Junior Perception Engineer to join our team of innovators. As a Junior Perception Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and effective translation of SoloPulse products into effective sensor solutions which will 'Change How the World Sees'.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. We are actively seeking a talented Junior Perception Engineer to join our team of innovators. As a Junior Perception Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and effective translation of SoloPulse products into effective sensor solutions which will 'Change How the World Sees'.
Responsibilities
- Algorithm Development: Leverage machine learning to enable both non-conventional and conventional imaging to do classification and image segmentation. Support the design, development, and integration of machine learning based sensor processing capabilities for a variety of RF system designs and use cases. Support the design and implementation of advanced AI and machine learning algorithms to enhance sensor perception models, including object detection, classification, and tracking using both supervised and unsupervised methods.
- Infrastructure Development: Develop software to manage and automate the machine learning lifecycle, including data management, pipelining, labeling, and training. Manage training data sourcing.
- Integration, Testing, and Validation: Manage model selection, training, validation, evaluation, deployment, and regression testing. Optimize networks to be deployed on edge, low compute constrained processors.
- Stay Current with Industry Trends: Keep up to date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and sensor technologies to continuously improve perception models.
Qualifications
- At least a bachelor's degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, or other technical field (advanced degree preferred).
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C/C++.
- Experience with machine learning, artificial intelligence, and/or computer vision.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in design for scalability.
- Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
- Previously developed and deployed ML architectures for vision-based projects or products.
