Description:

Russell Hendrix Foodservice Equipment is looking to find a Multi-Unit Account Manager for our National Accounts team in Montreal. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for building and maintaining positive, customer focused relationships with National Account head offices and franchisees, collaborating with multiple internal and external departments to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. This position requires integrity, vision, professionalism, and is an ideal position for an individual who is a problem solver and can think on their feet.

What You'll Do:
  • Consistently present new ideas to existing accounts and provide solutions.
  • Maintain professional relationships with the head office and customer; answer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer service.
  • Establish payment terms and negotiating prices.
  • Organize and effectively chair a meeting with senior executives.
  • Communicate with site and our distribution team about anticipated RSD and update changes.
  • Prepare and review profit analysis reports monthly.
  • Ensure client customized websites are up to date and reflect accurate prices and terms.
  • Exhibit dedication to continuous improvement of product knowledge.
  • Create marketing initiatives to promote increased sales to existing accounts.
  • Prepare a goal and strategic plan for sales.
  • Manage the expectations of the client.
  • Manage and motivate associated departments to achieve your goals; purchasing, distribution, and support.
  • Manage the relationship between suppliers and client.
  • Ensure smooth execution of roll-outs.
  • Work with AR to ensure accounts are in good standing.
  • Managing the product list; delisting items, replacements, innovative products, cost savings etc.
  • Build and maintain high level relationships.
  • Properly set up DC's with correct inventory, and establish performance expectations.
  • Increase/improve web offering.
  • Streamline product offering with other large volume accounts.
  • Contribute to a healthy and safe workplace.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Desired Skills and Experience:
  • You are French/English bilingual.
  • You have a diploma or bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • You have at least 4 to 5 years of relevant foodservice knowledge/experience.
  • You have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and have experience communicating across multiple levels within an organization.
  • You have strong analytical and numeracy skills.
  • You are highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel and Outlook. Additional experience with Traverser would be an asset.
  • You have a proven ability to build and manage relationships.
  • You have previous success leading others.
  • You have superior negotiation skills.
  • You are willing to travel, as required.
  • You are self-motivated and can work with little supervision.
  • You are adaptable, able to work individually and in a team environment.
