Job Description

Our Regional Medical Directors are essential members of our team in delivering mission-driven healthcare. We are looking for outstanding physicians to join our team.

Our Regional Medical Director will have the following responsibilities:

Delivering the Best Healthcare Possible

o Utilizes site-specific and individual-specific data to help drive improvement

o Provides clinical oversight of APPs as required

o Supports the peer review process

o Mentors, coaches and develops members of the team utilizing qualitative and quantitative data

Creating a Kind and Caring Environment

o Completes performance reviews

o Partners with recruiting to find talent and build teams

o Leads regional meetings as assigned

o Participates and leads in committee and work group meetings

o Develop educational programming and support as assigned

Delivering Care in an Economical Manner

o Ensures appropriate documentation is completed for visits by working with RCM

o Supports providers in completing coder feedback

o Works across providers to ensure "visits on hold" are complete

Basic Qualifications

o MD or DO with 5+ Years of Clinical Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine

o Experience in Previous Medical Leadership Role

o Ability to Travel to Sites Across a Region as Needed

o Licensed provider in the state of practice

o Ability to work well in a fast-paced team orientated environment

o Friendly and customer-service oriented

o DOT certification or the ability to be certified within 90 days of employment
