Job Duties:
- Provide clinical care for infants, children, adolescents and young adults suffering acute and chronic infectious diseases, immunodeficiency disorders and complications of organ transplants.
- Treat all infectious diseases and immunodeficiency disorders affecting his patient population (including congenital infections, infections of all organs, tick-borne diseases, HIV, bloodstream infections, recurrent infections, or fevers of unknown origin).
- Continue research into pediatric infectious diseases (Lyme disease, complicated appendicitis, severe combined immune deficiency, bone and joint infections, COVID-19, MIS-C, RSV, antimicrobial stewardship).
- Provide consultations for Immunology, Travel Medicine, Antimicrobial Stewardship, HIV Program, solid organ transplant program.
- Will work at the Hartford, Connecticut, Farmington, Connecticut, and Danbury, Connecticut offices.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Must possess at least a M.D. or its equivalent
- Must be board certified or board eligible in pediatric infectious disease
