Who We Want

As we continue to grow our markets and local branch network, we are seeking a detail orientated, experienced, Contracts Manager. The Contract Manager's responsibilities will include full ownership, development, and management of the companies' contract and prequalification review, completion, and organization. The Contracts Manager will report to the SVP of Sales & Marketing.

What You'll Do

• Work alongside ProLift Rigging's local Chief of Sales and Marketing Manager, Director of Technical Services, and CFO located in Downers Grove, IL and Memphis, TN.
• Develop Service Center and local Branch relationships within the company that improve the Risk Managers ability to accomplish tasks and exceed goals.
• Review contracts and pre-qualifications to identify, assess, and communicate risks throughout bidding and negotiation process.
• Support the business in review and negotiation of commercial contracts with customers, suppliers, and leaseholders.
• Prepare recommendations to ensure the balance of macro and individual risks and rewards with respect to contractual liabilities.
• Develop metrics to evaluate the company's success in managing its contractual risks.
• Develop, prepare, and distribute appropriate risk reporting within the company.
• Obtain a knowledge of the key business functions (e.g., operations, sales, engineering, ProLift service center, logistics) and an understanding of the key risks and controls in these areas.
• Prepare risk management and insurance budgets.
• Prepare and communicate reports tailored to the relevant audience. (Educating the board of directors about the most significant risks to the business; ensuring business heads understand the risks that might affect their departments; ensuring individuals understand their own accountability for individual risks).
• Create business continuity plans to limit risks.
• Implement health/safety measures and purchasing insurance.
• Conduct policy and compliance audits, which will include liaising with internal and external auditors.
• Maintain records of insurance policies and claims.

Required Qualifications:

• College degree
• 5+ years' professional business experience
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines while working in a collaborative environment.
