Glen Ellyn District 41 is Seeking a Full Time School Psychologist at Hadley Jr High

Information about District 41: District 41 is a warm, welcoming place known for high academic achievement, a strong sense of community and active family involvement. We serve approximately 3,500 students from Kindergarten through eighth grade in four elementary schools and one junior high. Our graduates attend Glenbard West High School, one of four high schools in Glenbard District 87. Our name is Glen Ellyn School District 41, but we actually serve parts of five communities: Carol Stream, Glendale Heights, Glen Ellyn, Lombard and Wheaton.

Licensure Requirements: Professional Educator License(PEL)- With a School Psychologist Endorsement

The successful candidate will:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong collaboration skills with other facility members
Experience with individual, group and classroom counseling
* Provide assistance to mild, moderate, severe and behavior disordered populations
Have prior experience with case management responsibilities
Have prior experience in determining and developing proper RtI interventions for Tiers 1, 2 and 3
Administer diagnostic and curriculum-based assessments
Arrange for crisis, individual and group interventions as appropriate
Administer professional development training and workshops for teachers, administrators, and other school personnel
Knowledge of and experience with Special Education and Section 504 legal requirements and procedures
