The Role
Doncaster's Structural Castings of Oxford (DSCO) is excited to announce that they are seeking an experienced Foundry Engineer to join their team based in Oxford, AL.
This is a full-time position. When joining the team as a Foundry Engineer, this individual will use their expertise and experience to support the organization in achieving its operational successes. Deadlines will be met with accurate and precise detail to optimize the business objectives while aligning with customer specifications.
This is an exciting opportunity. It's not just a job. As a Foundry Engineer, you will work in a key role ensuring the preparation of parts and appropriate SOPs are followed to ensure customer specifications are met. Using your keen eye for detail you will follow set specifications to ensure products are produced within process parameters, using a variety of tools, programs, and techniques. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our Maintenance Engineer and department to implement and maintain foundry processes and procedures to ensure the production of high-quality castings, analyze casting designs, and specifications to determine the best methods for production. You will also conduct research and development on new casting materials, methods, and technologies. This position would require a self motivated individual who is looking for a hands on role.

Technical understanding and manual skills: Do you have industrial, manufacturing, or aerospace engineering experience? We are looking for individuals who have a Bachelors in Process Engineering, Engineering, Science or Manufacturing Technology discipline with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Foundry Engineering role. Mechanical or Metalurgical Degree preferred.
