Job Summary

The ERP Senior Consultant - Finance provides strategic advice to companies to solve problems, create value, improve growth, and maximize business efficiency and profitability through the configuration and use of technology tools. They act as a partner with the customer's project team to leverage ERP solutions providing guidance and knowledge to the team. Your role as ERP Senior Consultant, will be to collaborate with clients, advising them how to use information technology to meet their business objectives. You'll work to improve the structure and efficiency of technology solutions in various organizations.

Responsibilities
  • Provides expertise on ERP Finance Functional Projects individually or as part of a team, during implementation, upgrade, or optimization projects; serves as a mentor to junior staff; contributes to ROI Thought Leadership
  • Works collaboratively to capture design and document requirements, tests functional and/or technical configurations and development in support of project objectives; configures ERP application
  • Provides guidance and insight in the analysis of customer business requirements, mentoring less experienced consultants
  • Leads and/or participates in design workshops and presentations to facilitate improvement efforts within the implementation timeline; builds consensus around business processes and design
  • Leads and/or participates in knowledge transfer workshops, assisting in documenting updated processes and procedures
  • Participates and assists in facilitating system testing, integration testing, and resolve errors
  • Conducts interviews with necessary groups to gather, analyzes and document information and business requirements
  • Provides consistent and ongoing interaction with client subject matter experts
  • Learns and identifies industry trends and correlate them to existing service offerings
  • Understands and adheres to established project management policies and procedures utilizing established project standards
  • Identifies potential risks, issues and concerns or conflicts in a timely manner and present to project leadership
  • Identifies items that may exceed defined project scope and presents to project leadership
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and ownership of work products and works in a fast-paced, team environment

Basic ROI Performance Criteria
  • Ensures all project documentation is updated utilizing defined ROI templates and stored in the appropriate location within 2 business days of creation to support a seamless project audit
  • Provides weekly status report to the Project Manager for each billable client by 3:00 PM EST on Friday of each week
  • Adheres to time requirements by submitting weekly time records by 5:00 PM EST Saturday for the week work was performed
  • Utilize remote work collaboration tools (Teams, etc.) for communication with other team members and clients, being logged in and available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in your respective time zone, or the time zone of your assigned client
  • Demonstrates a strong work ethic and ownership of work products and work in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Maintains regular, consistent attendance and open communication with Project Managers, Directors, and team members
  • Completes all annual education/competency requirements; demonstrates ROI core values, adheres to policies and procedures
  • Target being 85 percent billable; available to travel 5-10 percent of the time

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent); experience with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Minimum 3 years ERP-based consulting or equivalent work experience desired and relevant Infor product certification(s)
  • Knowledge and proficiency of a minimum of 3 Financial operations and practices including: General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Assets, Budgeting, Close and Reconciliation, and master data management disciplines
  • Experience in the functional design, implementation and support of the ERP Financial solutions and proficiency in a minimum of 3 areas such as: General Ledger, Expense Management, Grants, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, etc.
  • Understanding of financial metrics combined with knowledge and/or experience with ERP reporting/analytic solutions
  • Proven experience in the functional design, implementation, and support of ERP Finance Applications
  • Initiative to gain knowledge of current solutions and/or technologies to maintain and advance your expertise
  • Willingness to participate in presentations and learning opportunities with both functional and technical teams
  • Ability to work to ensure customer satisfaction through quality and consistent execution of the ROI methodology
  • Valid Certification from ERP Vendor Partner or willingness to obtain certification

Reporting Structure
  • Reports to the Director, ERP Finance and Supply Management

Location: Relocation not required
Duration: Full time employment
