Description
Prevailance is seeking an experienced and mission-focused professional to support Commander, Naval Surface Forces Pacific (CNSP) and Afloat Training Group Pacific (ATGPAC) as a Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Training Administrator & Scheduler. This position is essential for ensuring that the Pacific Fleet's ships are effectively trained and certified for a wide range of operational scenarios, particularly in Ballistic Missile Defense.
The BMD Training Administrator & Scheduler should have extensive experience with Aegis systems and proven expertise in managing training and exercises. This position requires a proactive approach to enhancing training standards and ensuring that personnel are prepared for immediate deployment, emphasizing the need for best practices and technical knowledge.

The BMD Training Administrator & Scheduler should have extensive experience with Aegis systems and proven expertise in managing training and exercises. This position requires a proactive approach to enhancing training standards and ensuring that personnel are prepared for immediate deployment, emphasizing the need for best practices and technical knowledge.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Training and Certification:
- Ensure that all ships in the Pacific Fleet are trained and certified effectively, with a focus on Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) operations.
- Standards Development:
- Collaborate on the development and analysis of evolving training standards to meet operational requirements.
- Monitoring and Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze the training status of ships, ensuring they meet the necessary readiness and certification standards.
- Departmental Support:
- Provide executive support for departmental functions, including scheduling, conflict management, and quality assurance.
- Program Management:
- Assist in the management of training programs, ensuring compliance with mission area certification and relevant information technology systems.
- Quality Control and Data Analysis:
- Conduct quality control assessments of training programs and perform data analysis to inform decision-making and improvements.
- Training Execution:
- Actively engage in conducting training sessions and exercises, both live and synthetic, to enhance personnel readiness.
Requirements
Experience:
- Surface Navy Experience:
- 5 years of surface navy experience on an Aegis BMD platform or an equivalent platform.
- Technical Testing and Support:
- Experience in conducting technical testing and support for military exercises, training, or operations.
- Exercise Planning:
- Experience in planning and executing live or synthetic BMD exercises.
- Afloat Training Group Experience:
- 2 years of experience at an Afloat Training Group (ATG) or an equivalent training command.
- Training Scheduling and Resource Management:
- 2 years of experience managing training scheduling and resource allocation using a database system.
Knowledge Areas:
- Surface Force Training Manual:
- Familiarity with the Surface Force Training Manual and its application in training environments.
- BMD Tactics and Technical Systems:
- In-depth knowledge of BMD tactics, technical systems, and instructions, including requirements from the COMNAVSURFORINST 8820.2 series and associated tactical memorandums.
- AEGIS Combat Systems:
- Strong understanding of the AEGIS Combat Systems, including its components, instructions, and operational protocols.
- Command and Control Issues:
- Knowledge of BMD Command and Control issues, especially regarding surveillance, engagement, and planning functions across various numbered fleets.
Security Clearance:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
