Summary
This position is responsible for directing the Finance department and assuming a strategic role in the overall management of the company. This position has primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company, including financial reporting, budget management, cost benefit analysis, and forecasting by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties
Ensures effective internal best practices and compliance with applicable Federal and State regulatory laws and rules for tax reporting. Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives. Reports financials and key projects to the Finance Committee and Board of Governors. Manages the treasury and investment aspects. Evaluates and advises on the impact of long range planning and impact of regulatory action.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises employees in the Finance department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand;

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree from a college or university in accounting or finance; required. Master's degree from a college or university in business, accounting or finance; strongly preferred. Seven to ten years related experience and/or training;
required. - Experience in financial and management with the day-to-day financial operations of an organization of at least 100 staff is required.
- Knowledge of Star Rating and quality matrices; required.
Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations
- CPA license strongly preferred
