Job Summary

The Grant and Education Administrative Director is responsible for overseeing and coordinating educational programs and research initiatives within Silver Hill Hospital in conjunction with the Directors of Education and Research, forming a dyad relationship with each. This role ensures that education and research activities align with institutional goals while fostering an environment conducive to academic and professional development and the creation of an internationally celebrated educational program. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and leadership skills and a passion for advancing research and education.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of education and research programs in conjunction with the Directors of Education and Research, ensuring alignment with institutional objectives.
  • Assist staff in identifying funding opportunities, preparing grant applications, and managing awarded funds.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with institutional policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements; prepare reports for stakeholders and funding agencies.
  • Foster partnerships with internal departments, external organizations, and community stakeholders to enhance research and educational initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records of research activities and educational programs; analyze and report on program effectiveness.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and conferences consistent with planning efforts from the Silver Hill Academy for Research and Education (SHARE).
  • Work with IT at SHH and pursue consultation regarding the development of an educational platform to support the ongoing development of the Silver Hill Academy for Research and Education (SHARE)
  • Oversee a process of a five-year strategic plan for the ongoing of an international educational academy
  • Develop and manage budgets for research and educational initiatives, ensuring optimal resource allocation.


Required Skills and Abilities
  • Strong ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must have the ability to function optimally in a stressful environment, and the ability to remain calm in emotionally charged situations.
  • A history of working in a matrixed organization working as a team member while reporting to a single point of contact is optimal, as well as a history of taking creative ideas for building a program and putting these into actionable deliverables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and evaluation, with the ability to draw insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with research databases, statistical software, and educational technologies.
  • Strong ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders and within a matrixed organizational system

Education and Experience
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Public Administration, Research Management) is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in administration, education program management, or a related field. Experience in grant writing and compliance is highly desirable.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CRA, CRP) are a plus.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Ability to life, push, and pull up to 25 pounds
