1. Summary of Position:
The Cyber Security Manager provides specialist contributions to protect business information by monitoring and supporting, in coordination with Leonardo Cyber & Information Security, the correct implementation and use of cyber security requirements, procedures, policies and cyber security services.
2. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assure the protection of business information by monitoring and supporting the correct application of cyber security requirements for information and communication technology solutions that ensure the mitigation of information security risks at an acceptable level.
- Supports the information security risks analysis and provides specialist support within Information Security Risk Management process.
- Provides specialist support to business stakeholders
- Provides cyber security requirements during the development of new projects or services or business contracts.
- Supports the coordination of security plans' definition and audits for specific business initiative and/or contractual cyber security clauses
- Monitors the proper application of centrally defined cyber security baselines and methodologies and manages, in coordination with Leonardo Cyber & Information Security, any potential exceptions.
- Evaluates Vulnerability Reports and Alerts as well as other required remediation and ensures that vulnerability mitigation efforts are facilitated across the company and/or business initiative
- Manage Firewall, Load Balancer, Router, Proxy and Switch configurations within the Leonardo enterprise network based on operational requirements
- Work with other Leonardo and Contractor teams to determine functional needs, develop secure architectures, and communicate security best practices and policies
- Manage network health monitoring systems
- Provision, implement, test/validation, and maintain networking services per solution design
- Collaborate with Leonardo central teams to implement security controls like MFA, Data Loss Prevention, Antivirus, Access Control Systems, etc...
- Create documentation and procedures
Qualifications and Experience:
- Ability to understand and translate complex technical issues into business implications for technical and business representatives.
- Demonstrated experience to support and maintain security processes, procedures and policies for all platforms, systems and networks
- Must be a team player and possess a strong ability to work collaboratively as well as be able to work independently, demonstrate strong initiative and have an ability to organize daily tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) as well as the ability to interact with team members including strong presentation and negotiation skills in dealing with all levels of management
- Committed to results and success in accomplishing goals, as well as a fast learner with demonstrated ability to quickly learn technology, process and understand unique system requirements
- Strong initiative, detail orientation, organizational skills, aptitude for analytical thinking
- Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment across several projects and teams
- Capable of understanding client needs and translating this into products and services
- Critical thinking and decision making abilities. The ideal candidate makes good decisions based on a mixture of analysis, wisdom, experience and judgment.
- Ability to travel is required
- A minimum of 2 years (junior level) or 5 years (senior level) of direct work experience with auditing or managing security and technical controls
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- Advanced knowledge in information security/cyber security, risk management, end point and server technologies, network management/architecture, intrusion detection and prevention systems, vulnerability/pen testing management, and patch management systems. This individual serves as a subject matter expert within these areas.
