Job Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and motivated sales leader to oversee the sales team at CarePlus. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thrives in an environment where he/she is empowered to build a successful team and plan / execute on sales strategy autonomously. We are looking for a visionary - a strategic thinker who will enable the profitable growth of the CarePlus book of business. The sales leader will need to be detail oriented and to collaborate effectively with business partners to achieve the strategies set in place. CarePlus is looking to partner with a business owner, committed to the long-term success of the business.

• Year over year growth in total CarePlus membership (group and individual plans)
• Creates and organizes opportunities to present to prospects to increase awareness of the CarePlus brand and generate new leads.
• Creates and executes growth strategies for the existing client base.
• Year over year retention of current group clients
• Establishes long-term and intermediate sales objectives, action plans and forecasts for the team.
• Develops and deepens relationships across client distribution organizations, including brokers, groups, the provider network, and community/industry partners.
• Leads and trains the sales / account management team to improve service and increase penetration.
• Collaborates with the administrative team in the creation and roll out of new products.
• Collaborates with marketing on brand strategy, direct to consumer marketing and the content of CarePlus group and member materials.
• Collaborates with the provider network's operations team to ensure excellent member experience within CarePlus' narrow network
• Prepares sales reports. Present data-driven insights, recommendations, and results to executive leadership.
• Oversees the sales budget.

Job Requirements

• Ability to work collaboratively with key internal and external leaders, partners, payers, and customers in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated expertise in handling complex client issues.
• Excellent organizational skills. Flexibility to adapt to current market conditions and rapidly changing priorities.
• Ability to translate and communicate complex topics and data in a variety of forums, tailoring communications to effectively fit and influence the targeted audience, strong executive presence, presentation, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen. Advanced understanding of the healthcare industry and market dynamics and trends for related products.
• Working knowledge of CRM platforms, as well as Microsoft Office products.
• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare management or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Wisconsin Insurance License within 90 days of hire
• Eight to twelve years in insurance sales or account management is preferred
• At least two years of group dental or managed care experience is preferred
• History of growing a business unit and exceeding goals
• Experience with customer relationship management through multiple distribution channels
