Portfolio Lead
The Portfolio Lead supervises a team of experienced professionals that is responsible for providing strategic support for the assigned business area. As a team leader, this job oversees the execution of strategic business management consulting to leaders and is the central point of contact for the leaders in the execution of business management tasks. This job is responsible for setting goals and objectives for team members for the achievement of strategic business management consulting operational results.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Acts as a day-to-day technical/functional expert in assigned area and makes decisions on tactical issues that impact the business.
  • Maintains and supports implementation of policies and procedures in support of the business area strategy.
  • Implements process improvements for demographics and identifiers from the company's databases.
  • Analyzes and reports on area data (financial, headcount, etc.) and performance metrics.
  • Supports business management projects by monitoring and tracking risks, issues and action items.
  • Influences the development of new strategic initiatives through tracking budgets and milestones.
  • Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional products and engagement, motivation, and development of team.
  • Ensures strategic business management consulting policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports.

Educational Requirements
  • University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience
  • 8+ Years Required; 10+ Years Preferred

Career Level

Preferred Qualifications
  • Banking industry experience; retail banking highly preferred
  • PMP, PgMP or other project management certification
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and achieve goals in a dynamic environment
  • Leadership experience and/or experience training others in a relevant professional capacity
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including explanations of complex concepts
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time

Hybrid work is a minimum of four days a week, one flexible day for remote work.
