What you will do:

The Full Stack Developer is an essential member of the web development team ensuring the success of our IT team. They implement the latest technologies to develop and optimize the various large-scale ecommerce and the internal tools used by the organization.

Through their technical abilities, The Full Stack Developer is a resource to various teams and internal clients to develop complete solutions. They contribute effectively to the development and growth of technologies within the organization. Their skills bridge the gap between client-side and server-side development, allowing them to build robust, scalable, and user-friendly web applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop complete solutions from interface to cloud infrastructure and databases;
  • Design, integrate and maintain new functionalities aimed at the continuous improvement of various existing websites, internal applications, and ecommerce;
  • Bring critical thinking and expertise in the development of new features that meet specific customer needs while ensuring compliance with programming standards;
  • Debug and optimize critical applications aimed at high availability, durability, and reliability;
  • Collaborate with internal customers to meet different technical and functionality needs in internal and external applications;
  • Work closely with various members of the Information Technology team to meet product and quality assurance requirements;
  • Take part in an agile process (Scrum) to ensure the visibility of the various deliverables by all the stakeholders of the company;
  • Take part in demonstration and follow-up sessions with stakeholders to ensure that requirements are met;
  • Follow the Agile software development process with Jira, Bitbucket, Codecommit.

To be successful in this position you will need to:
  • College diploma in programming, university degree in computer science, or other experience and training deemed equivalent;
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in backend and frontend web application development;
  • Strong JavaScript development skills (React and Node.js)

Work schedule and status:

Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week (Full-time).
