Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School jointly seek a highly qualified and energetic orthopedic oncologist to care for adult and pediatric patients. Candidates must be ABOS board-certified/board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery and eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts; fellowship training in Orthopedic Musculoskeletal Oncology and Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery are required. Proposed academic rank at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and academic achievements. Competitive base salary with productivity incentive and benefits are provided through Harvard Faculty Medical Physicians at BIDMC (HMFP).
Responsibilities include clinical practice, resident and fellow education, and clinical and/or basic science research. Clinical practice duties will be split 50/50 between Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for adult practice and the Orthopedic Center at Boston Children's Hospital for pediatric practice.
