Nemours is seeking a Scholars Program Manager-EVP, PIC and CSO to join our team.

Primary Function:

Nemours Children's Health is seeking a highly organized and motivated Program Administrator to oversee and manage Scholars Programs developed and managed in the Office of the Enterprise Physician-in-Chief & Chief Scientific Officer: Quality and Safety Scholars Program; Physician Well-Being Scholars Program; Patient Experience Scholars Program; Health Equity Scholars Program; and Medical Education Scholars Program. Specific Scholars Programs managed by the Program Administrator may be modified or newly introduced, to meet academic needs and maximize opportunities for academic advancement of Nemours Children's associates. The Program Administrator will be responsible for the effective planning, implementation, and evaluation of these programs, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and strategic goals.

Reports to the Chief of Staff in the office of the Enterprise Physician-in-Chief & Chief Scientific Officer. Collaborates and partners with the Office of Medical Education, Center for Quality and Safety, Physician Wellness Office, Patient Experience Office, and the Office of the Chief Health Equity Officer. Models the standards of behavior in all interactions.

Essential Functions:
  • Oversee the daily operations of all assigned Scholars Programs in the Office of the EVP, Enterprise Physician-in-Chief & Chief Scientific Officer.
  • Develop and implement program policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Coordinate and facilitate program activities, including workshops, seminars, and meetings.
  • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, implementing continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with faculty and healthcare professionals to design and deliver curriculum focused on conducting projects to achieve academic goals.
  • Support scholars in developing and implementing projects in their respective fields: to improve physician well-being, reduce burnout, and support physicians' mental and physical health; to enhance patient- and family-centered care practices and improve patient experience and satisfaction; and to coordinate educational activities and professional development for medical educators as they work to create and disseminate innovative educational materials and methods.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners, including academic institutions, healthcare providers, and community organizations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for participants and stakeholders in Scholars Programs overseen by the Enterprise Physician-in-Chief & Chief Scientific Officer (PIC/CSO).
  • Communicate program updates, successes, and challenges to leadership and other relevant parties.
  • Manage program budgets, ensuring financial resources are utilized effectively.
  • Prepare and present reports on program outcomes and progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all programs.

  • Non-Essential Functions:
  • Assist with the planning and coordination of organizational events outside of the Scholars Programs, such as fundraising events or program promotional campaigns.
  • Participate in grant-writing and fundraising activities to secure additional funding for other PIC/CSO initiatives.
  • Contribute to the organization's social media strategy by creating content related to the Scholars Programs and other activities overseen by the PIC/CSO.
  • Support marketing and outreach efforts to promote Nemours Children's Health services and programs, including creating promotional materials.
  • Engage with community partners and stakeholders to build relationships and support community health initiatives beyond the scope of the Scholars Programs.

  • Job Requirements:

    Bachelors degree required

    More than 3 and up to 5 years of job related experience required.
