We are building a cloud-based software platform that will provide the foundation for our next generation of industry-leading solutions and analytics.
About You:
We are looking for a dedicated and mission-oriented senior software engineer who will embrace the challenge of being on the front edge of our new platform with a willingness to maintain and improve our existing platform. The successful candidate will understand the necessity to release minimally viable code as quickly as possible and iteratively improve it. A solid academic foundation (BS in Computer Science) or related experience are expected for this role. Being smart and curious is much more important to us than checking the technology checkboxes. Typical candidates will have 5+ years of experience developing software, preferably with exposure to agile processes and automated testing (e.g. TDD).
You will:
Write and release code-lots of it-with a quality-centered sense of urgency
Work across the entire technology stack
Continuously collaborate and drive to consensus on design decisions
Participate actively and constructively in agile team meetings and peer code reviews
Adopt and refine solid design principles and coding patterns
Have a lot of fun, it's unavoidable
Find yourself incessantly saying: elastic, pipeline, restful, microservice, and serverless
Play a meaningful role in helping institutions provide a clearer path to graduation
