Overview
WakeMed Physician Practices is a multi-specialty group with over 450 physicians in a variety of specialty areas. Our organization places a high value on quality, caring and compassionate physicians and we are committed to providing state-of-the-art healthcare to our patients and the community we serve.
We are currently seeking physicians with an interest and fellowship training in Gastroenterology to join our group in Raleigh, NC. Our team currently consists of 8 physicians and 10 APP's, 4 Nurses and 8 Medical Assistants. Our physicians provide inpatient critical care at WakeMed as well as outpatient services and procedures. Locations in Raleigh, North Raleigh and Cary.
The WakeMed Physician is responsible for providing quality clinical care to patients cared for by their division. The Physician may be responsible for providing teaching and supervision to residents, medical students and/or APPs within their division. The Physician is responsible for appropriate coding and corporate compliance and may be responsible for some general administrative responsibilities of the practice. Physician reports directly to the Director of their assigned division and understands and supports the mission values, and management of WakeMed Physician Practices and WakeMed.
