Overview
Overview: In summary, the position requires an experienced Air Force (AF)/ Space Force (SF) well-rounded generalist with sufficient knowledge and experience in multiple areas of Space Force operations and force development to help SpOC develop new approaches and operate processes for rapid force development.
Responsibilities
- Provide implementation recommendations for Strategy, Design, Planning, Programming, and Execution (SDPPE) process, Requirements (e.g. JCIDS process) and Acquisition to ensure consistency with higher authority and SpOC direction
- Provide classified program management support within the program's business management directorate
- Managing the collection, validation and update of program data to classified customized organizational decision-support tools on a recurring basis
- Provides management and oversight for Delta Innovation efforts including Delta Innovation guide and policy development.
- Providing key support in the development and implementation of a requirement validation and prioritization process for the program office
- Providing analysis, producing briefing charts, and generating supporting documentation in support of a wide array
- Provides recommendations for updates applicable to SpOC, Deltas, and associated Policy Directives and Instructions
- Conducting research and authoring senior-level memos and position papers on a variety of technical/procedural/policy financial topics as required
Skills Required
- Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years space operations experience, conducting mission operations within DoD/Air Force (AF)/ Space Force (SF) community
- Experience with alternative and evolving force development processes such as DEVSECOPS, rapid prototyping, and rapid fielding is required
- Understanding of USSF capability development processes from concept development through force design/architectures, development/acquisition, and testing/fielding is required
- Program analysis experience in an Air Force, Space Force, or Joint Force organization to include planning and execution is highly desired
- Analytical experience providing decision support and program advocacy inputs/products to senior DoD management is required
- Competency and minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required
- Competency managing and providing product/analysis support for FYDP programming/budgeting (to include the AF/SF POM and OSD BES) is desired
- Top Secret Security Clearance Required; Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Required
- Salary range: $115,000 - $135,000/year, DOE

Education
Bachelors degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
