Job Description
The Senior Operations Accountant plays a pivotal role within the Company, providing accounting support to the Company's fulfillment centers and functional departments. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role is responsible for all facets of accounting for the assigned operational areas, including, but not limited to executing the month-end close, upholding internal controls, and obtaining meaningful business insights through financial analysis. All S&S Activewear employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare the month-end journal entries for assigned operational areas such as payroll, leases, etc.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for the respective areas
- Perform variance analysis and drive resolution/correction as needed
- Refine and improve the accounting close and business processes for assigned areas
- Build relationships with cross-functional teams to promote strong processes and financial controls
- Support financial statement audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
- Maintain organized, accurate, and complete accounting records
- Document policies, procedures, and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility
- Assist the Accounting Manager with other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- CPA is a plus
- 4 years related accounting experience, with Big Four and/or large US public company experience a plus
- Experience with payroll accounting is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with Acumatica and/or OneStream is a plus
- Adaptable and able to work in a fast changing and evolving organization
- Effective analytical and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail
- Exhibit exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization
