Salary: $150,000-$190,000/DOE

Medical benefits-eligible first of the month following 28 days of employment. All other benefits-eligible first of the month following 90 days of employment.

Position Overview: Manna Beverages, a dynamic and growing company, is seeking a Director, Supply Chain Center of Excellence. In this key leadership role, you will oversee short- and long-term production planning, warehouse management and transportation. Reporting to the President in the interim, you will play a pivotal role in guiding strategic decisions by evaluating growth opportunities and risks.

Language Skills: English proficiency required. Spanish is a plus.

Amount of Travel Involved: 75%.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators for warehouse and planning operations, to include customer satisfaction
  • Collaborates with internal departments to draw maximum efficiency and value.
  • Develops and executes deep-dive analytics on under-performing customers on warehousing, planning and resulting improvement plans, seeking to understand collective efficiency opportunities, and increase overall performance
  • Develops subject matter expertise through external research, benchmarking, and analyzing cost Demonstrated mathematical and statistical competency
  • Oversee production planning initiatives across the enterprise to meet all customer requirements including capacity planning using statistical tools to project performance
  • Conduct quarterly capacity planning based on forecasted demand.
  • Develop annual, quarterly, monthly capacity plans by location and line
  • Use industry techniques to train and develop the team on best-in-class planning techniques
  • Ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements are followed within operational adjustments and operation of warehouse and transportation.
  • Clear understanding and experience engaging with Transportation and DOT requirements
  • Demonstrate accountability and a comprehensive understanding of Operations' impact on the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement.
  • Implement best-in-class warehousing and transportation business processes and policy to meet and exceed the multi-year business planning goals
  • Responsible for improving the operating performance of through effective planning, goal setting, coaching, and feedback on an ongoing basis; as well as encouraging employee development, teamwork, and two-way communication.
  • Lead strategic business planning initiatives in collaboration with other departments.
  • Implement recruitment, training, retention, and career development strategies that align with company objectives.

Additional Responsibilities
  • Build a Center of Excellence for Manna's supply chain initiatives
  • Collaborates with the sales team in addressing customer relations and service requirements to ensure operations meets or exceeds customer expectations.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental efforts to align with common goals.
  • Set and execute goals for staffing, planning, capacity, distribution,, and processes, addressing both short-term and long-term needs.
  • Manage and track KPIs related to Center of Excellence.
  • Collaborate with Finance to manage the budget.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment, training, retention, and career development plans, including regular 1:1 meetings and performance reviews.
  • Champions the utilization and adoption of new technologies and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operating costs to support long-term sustainability and growth.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and maintain positive employee morale.

Education:
  • BA/BS degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or Business Administration or an equivalent combination of training and work experience is preferred
  • 10+ years hands on experience in planning manufacturing/management role
  • Knowledge and understanding of management theory and practices; modern plant engineering principles and practices.
  • Strong knowledge of aggregate production processes, equipment, and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving financial and operational targets.
  • Able to establish, measure and hold individuals accountable for achieving performance expectations and achieving goals.

The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; extreme cold and extreme heat. Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but the employee may occasionally be exposed to high level noises including but not limited to manufacturing equipment. Understanding and capable of operating in an environment that contains powered industrial equipment and uncontrolled environmental temperatures.
