The Sales Director will promote and sell our SaaS products for our Power division to our current customers and partners in public safety . You can learn more about NEOGOV's Power products here: https://www.powerdms.com/.

What You Will do

  • Managing a diverse mix of territory and product based sales positions with diverse responsibilities of prospecting through outbound tele-prospecting, upsell/cross sell sales, closing new business.
  • Recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and coaching Sales reps (note: successful SDRs are promoted to Account Executive positions within two to three years at NEOGOV)
  • Monitoring and refining sales processes and metrics
  • Managing territory assignment
  • Ensure successful pipeline management by all your direct reports. Assist with accounts when necessary.
  • Creating and maintaining a culture of high activity and operational excellence
  • Ensuring the effective use of Salesforce.com, and other sales systems in use
  • Compiling weekly/monthly team reports, modify as needed
  • Conducting weekly team meetings and 1 on 1's, with an emphasis on recognition and skills development
  • Remove roadblocks to your team's success

What you have:
  • 5 years of direct selling experience in a quota driven environment
  • At least 3 years of proven success managing a team of Sales reps, preferably in the SaaS environment
  • Experience selling to Public Sector (Public Safety, State & Local Government, Public Education -Preferred
  • Strong competency in SalesForce
  • Ability to coach employees to prep them for success in this position
