Position Summary:
The Sr. Systems Administrator for ServiceNow will provide expert systems guidance in the design, implementation, and support of production, test, and development environments. This role includes working with various operating systems, such as Unix, Windows, IBM WebSphere, IBM Web portal, and others, to support a robust and reliable platform for Children's Health. In addition, the Sr. Systems Administrator will collaborate with management and technical experts to develop a long-term architectural strategy, ensuring a stable and scalable ServiceNow environment.
The individual will be responsible for planning, estimating, and managing small to medium-sized projects, guiding other team members in their day-to-day activities, and fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direction and expertise in the design and implementation of ServiceNow and related operating systems environments.
- Identify and resolve architectural issues, proposing solutions that align with Children's Health's long-term architecture strategy.
- Make strategic architecture design decisions and perform systems performance and process modeling to create a reliable foundation for growth.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of technical designs, program specifications, and operational procedures.
- Oversee the health of assigned system environments, ensuring stability across production, QA, and development.
- Perform upgrades, apply patches, and implement performance enhancements to maintain optimal system performance.
- Effectively communicate architectural concepts and system direction to directors, managers, and analysts to build strong customer relationships.
Work Experience:
- Required: At least 5 years of experience in information processing solution development.
- Required: Minimum of 3 years of experience in designated operating systems or application administration, including ServiceNow.
Education:
- Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Certifications and Licenses:
- Service Now Certified System Administrator Certification (CSA)
