As the Controller, you'll lead the accounting/finance team in general accounting, job costing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management and treasury activities... since we are quickly growing, we need a Controller who can work closely with the internal and external management teams to establish, implement and maintain procedures and internal controls to support varying business initiatives. You'll be responsible for driving timely and accurate reporting of the company financials to enable deep understanding of company operating performance.

What you'll do:
  • Operate within Good Manufacturing Procedures (G.M.P) regulations and guidelines always in accordance with ISO13485.
  • Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P's) in place relevant to your work activities.
  • Manage the five sales entities' accounting operations, including daily bookings, fixed management and inventory reconciliations, reporting (cash report, AR report, etc.) and analysis (profitability and cost analysis), and booking closing (e.g. financial statement preparation, general ledger, and month- quarter and fiscal year closes)
  • Consolidate GRI's nine entities' financials and review and provide the financial and reporting analysis.
  • Provide analytical and qualitative report on the company's financial performance.
  • Manage the five sales entities' cash management.
  • Manage the company's payroll, benefit and other compensation program.
  • Manage the company AR policy- set and manage customer credit policy, process, and approvals.
  • Manage the intercompany pricing policy.
  • Manage the data integrity and maintain the operating system.
  • Mange corporate files.
  • Manage the company's online banking and credit card accounts.
  • Manage the compliance with the state and federal registration, tax, and reporting requirements.
  • Review with the assist department managers in expense management.
  • Lead the initiative to any system integration or upgrades.
  • Fiscal period end responsibilities (e.g. lead team for the annual audit).
  • Other/ related duties as required.


What you'll bring:
  • BA/BS in Accounting with a Master's Degree and CPA preferred.
  • Six plus years' experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills and attention to details are required.
  • Must possess and maintain the ability to organize and prioritize workflow and to meet established timeframes.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks in fast-paced, team environment.
  • Able to handle requests with little direction or supervision.
  • Must be able to effectively manage challenging calendars, work under pressure, and proactively manage conflicting scheduling issues and unexpected changes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work within a cross- functional team and matrix management structure.
  • Knowledge of computer applications (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite- Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
  • Familiar with QuickBooks Enterprise 12.0 or higher is preferred.
