APP-HOSPITAL MEDICINE

ob Description: The Department of Medicine is seeking a physician assistant for the Hospitalist program at Sinai Hospital. The Hospitalist program is a continuous, on-site service with 35 active providers. Our APPs are involved in all aspects of patient management with a significant degree of autonomy including:

• Management of 8-9 patients per shift
• Performing comprehensive medical assessments to be used in diagnosis and treatment of patients.
• Developing and implementing patient care plans that includes initiating and prescribing medications
• Performing high-quality clinical practices and effective patient management, under the supervision of a hospitalist physician, in accordance with state regulations.
• Serving as an advisor, resource, and leader of other members of the patient care team
• Demonstrating teamwork by communicating effectively and working collaboratively with all members of the patient care team.

Requirements:

Active NCCPA certification

Maryland CDS license and DEA license

Active BLS/ACLS certifications\
